Travel between Hamilton and Syracuse/Utica
Reserve Airport, Train, or Bus shuttle service to and from Syracuse Hancock International Airport, Syracuse Regional Transportation Center, and Utica Boehlert Transportation Center.
Arrival check-in
Check in at the Student Union (aka Jame C Colgate Hall) ito get your welcome packet and class souveneir. If you registered for university housing, you will also get your room assignment and key. This is also your go-to spot for walk-in registration, any questions you have, or any staff help throughout the weekend.
Campus Transportation and Parking
Transportation team HQ tent will be outside James C Colgate Hall (aka Student Union). The team will manage the following options for getting around:
- Colgate Cruiser shuttles will run continuous loops.
Reunion Weekend Route: Colgate Inn – Hotel One75 – Reunion HQ/Student Union – Gate House (up the hill, by the Coop), Frank Dining Hall (up the hill by Stillman), the Apartments, Reunion HQ…then back to the Colgate Inn
Reunion Weekend Schedule: Thurs 4:30pm-2am, Friday 7:30am-2:30m, Saturday 7:30am-12pm. Details here.
Mobile app to track real-time shuttle locations: Download on Apple Store or Google Play Store - Golf carts (before dark) and vans (after dark) driven by students and staff can shuttle you anywhere on campus. Get a ride from the transportation team tent or flag one down on campus.
- Park in any campus lot (first come-first served), up or down the hill. Each lot has handicapped spots. For special accommodations, contact the Alumni Office 315-228-7700 to discuss.
- In addition to scheduled shuttles, you can call to request a ride. Welcome materials will include the transportation team phone number on a business card you can tuck into your name tag for easy any-time access.
Meals
All the following are included in your Reunion registraton except Saturday lunch.
- Breakfast: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:30-10am in Frank Dining Hall (up the hill, past the chapel, between Stillman and Curtis (KED to 76’ers)
- Lunch: Friday 11:30am-1:00pm casual fare on Whitnall field. Saturday on your own – explore local eateries, visit the weekly Farmer’s Market 10am-1pm on the village green.
- Dinner: Thursday class dinner with President Casey at Raab House, up the hill past the Coop. Friday food trucks on Whitnall Field starting 5pm, continuing after Torchlight. Saturday class dinner at Class of ’65 hockey arena
Down time options
- Trudy Fitness Center hours: Thursday-Friday 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday-Sunday on 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Golf: 50th Reunion Shotgun Golf (Friday morning, May 29) pre-registration and tee times required. For (limited) Sat-Sun tee times, call Seven Oaks pro shop 315-824-1423.
- Hang out with friends in new campus spaces. Peter’s Glen is a landscaped pedistrian pathway with seating nooks along the way between the top of Dana and the road below the academic quad. New academic buildings include renovated Olin Hall, the Ho Science Center, and Bernstein Hall. Here’s a campus map
Wardrobe and Packing Tips
Wondering what to wear?
Weather is unpredictable so it can be helpful to pack layers and comfortable footwear for multiple outdoor events, including Thursday dinner under a tent. We anticipate many guests will wear business casual attire for our Thursday and Saturday class dinners, and for our Saturday morning memorial service and class photo.

Other packing tips
- Portable phone chargers/cords can come in handy for online program info, ’76 trivia contest and all those photos you will want to snap.
- If you are staying in University housing, check your registration confirmation email for information on what is/is not provided.
