Colgate '76 50th Class Reunion

Countdown Expired!

WELCOME CLASSMATES

The Countdown To The Class Of 1976 50th Reunion Begins!

Welcome to our Class of 1976 website! This website will be the focal point for information about our upcoming 50th Reunion, taking place on the Colgate campus from Thursday, May 28, through Sunday, May 31, 2026.

This website will be updated on the 13th of each month and is the go-to site with new information from the various committees working hard to ensure we all enjoy a highly successful and entertaining Reunion Weekend. We hope you will check here frequently to see the attendance list grow in real time, and also for important information about Reunion Weekend registration, events planned for our 3+ days on campus, the progress of our 50th Reunion Class Gift, our 50th Reunion Yearbook, photo sharing, and other features.

Whether you have been back to campus on a frequent basis, or if you haven’t been back since graduation, our Reunion will be an incredible opportunity to catch up with friends and faculty and establish new friendships.

A full schedule of planned events will be available for you to select based on your individual interests, including educational seminars, social events, and tours of our constantly evolving and incredibly beautiful campus featuring new learning centers, residential buildings, and sports facilities.

We are asking your help on these three priorities this month (please note the October 15 deadline):

1. JOIN OUR HOPE-TO-GO LIST

If you are likely to attend our 50th Reunion, please add your name to our Hope-to-Go list. It’s not a commitment to attend; it just lets other classmates know you are hoping to be there. The larger the list, the bigger and better our Reunion will be. We predict our Reunion will be incredibly well-attended given that we already have over 100 names on our Hope-to-Go list! If your name is not on the list and you are hoping to attend our Reunion, please join now! Registration opens in mid-October.

2. SUBMIT YOUR REFLECTIONS, MEMORIES, AND PHOTOS FOR OUR 50th REUNION YEARBOOK (including reflections of deceased classmates)

Help us capture the spirit of our class by participating in our special 50th Reunion Yearbook. Visit the Yearbook page for instructions to submit your individual reflections of your life journey since graduation, memories of your Colgate days, reflections of deceased classmates, and photos.

The deadline to submit material for our 50th Reunion Yearbook is October 15, 2025.

3. JOIN A COMMITTEE
We would love to add more members to the committees planning an extraordinary reunion for our class. Please consider signing up for one (or more!) of the committees (other than the Reunion Yearbook Committee, which is already hard at work). Most importantly, we still need a few classmates to plan our In Memoriam Service honoring our deceased classmates, and a classmate to help manage this website (no worries – Colgate provides tech help!). Many thanks to those who have already volunteered to help make our Reunion a success. (See the committee lists below.)

We hope you will join us for our 50th Reunion in Hamilton next May – our celebration won’t be complete without you!

Your 50th Reunion Co-Chairs,
Pat Apelian
Rob Kindler
